MotherWise is a home-based postnatal support service working with experienced doulas and postnatal professionals across Greater London.
We exist to bring structure, continuity, and steady presence into the first days after birth — when families need support, not decisions.
The MotherWise Approach
At MotherWise, support is proactive and coordinated. We don’t wait to be asked, and we don’t leave families to figure things out alone.
We work with carefully selected postnatal doulas who offer practical, day-to-day support while holding the mother at the centre of the family system. Our role is not to replace clinical care, but to create the conditions in which families can rest, orient, and settle into life with a newborn.
Each family is supported within a clear structure, with continuity from day one.

Rather than choosing from a directory, families are personally matched based on timing, needs, and location — so the right person arrives, already briefed, prepared, and aligned.

Meet the founder
“MotherWise was born from motherhood — and from the structure I wished I’d had in the early days.”
MotherWise was founded by Federica Esposito, a mother of two with a background in project management, client experience, and coaching.
Her professional work has always focused on holding complexity: coordinating people, timing, and expectations in moments where clarity and continuity matter. Experiencing the postnatal period herself made clear how quickly that structure disappears after birth.
At MotherWise, Federica designs and holds the overall framework of support. She personally matches families with the right postnatal professional, briefs them in advance, and stays closely involved to ensure continuity, alignment, and quality throughout the support period.
Her role is not to replace the professionals who enter your home, but to hold the system around them — so families experience steadiness, not fragmentation.
